MPI Resolution

European Economic Recovery Plan
The European Commission recently granted € 2.3 billion to 43 gas and electricity projects, under the Economic Recovery Package. The EC already approved on 9th of December 2009, a series of offshore wind and carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects that will receive over €1.5 billion from the EU's economic recovery fund. The budget for energy projects (€ 3.98 billion) is now 97% committed.

Nordex to launch Gamma generation
Nordex SE will be unveiling the third generation of its 2.5 MW turbine series - the Gamma generation - at the European Wind Energy Conference EWEC in Warsaw on April 20 - 23, 2010. Comprising the N80, N90 and N100 wind power systems, this efficiency class combines the latest research and development with technical know-how and experience from a decade of producing and operating multi-megawatt turbines to meet today’s market requirements.
