The world’s leading solar power manufacturer Sharp has chosen a fast growing renewable energy company to become its partner.
Eco Environments has been signed up by Sharp, which last week announced the creation of 300 new jobs at its flagship Wrexham factory which is doubling its solar panel production.
Gaining supplier status with Sharp is the latest coup for Eco Environments, which was recently granted the prestigious Value Added Reseller (VAR) status by Scottish wind energy firm Proven Energy.
The link-up with Sharp also comes just weeks after Eco Environments opened new offices in Darlington, Penrith, Manchester and Tamworth to go with its head office in Liverpool.
David Hunt, a director with Eco Environments, said: “We are delighted to have been chosen to partner with Sharp after a rigorous selection process examining a number of elements of our business including financial performance and customer satisfaction levels.
“Sharp is the largest solar photovoltaic (PV) manufacturer in the world and its factory at Wrexham is at the heart of its operation.”
As part of the arrangement, Eco Environments will be able to take customers to visit Sharp’s dedicated Solar Centre which provides information, education and training with the aim of making the UK a leader in the field of renewable solar power.
Eco Environments specialises in providing homes and businesses with a comprehensive range of renewable energy solutions, specialising in Solar Photovoltaic (PV), wind turbines, solar thermal water heating systems and heat pumps.
David, who is responsible for the firm’s sales and marketing, said: “The key thing is we actually design, install and commission systems, so we have real hands-on knowledge of what will and won’t work, and how to integrate the various technologies.”
